Billy Hedel's Workshops

Billy Hedel is a renowned local artist and part-time volunteer for Bourne-Schweitzer Gallery. His work is distinguished by his vibrant use of color, especially in acrylics, and his creative incorporation of steampunk elements. His artistic practice blends technical mastery with imaginative themes, from exploring color theory—like mixing acrylics, using different mediums, and balancing hot versus cold colors—to constructing steampunk-inspired pieces using found objects. Billy’s workshops offer participants hands-on experiences in these areas, empowering them to create personalized works of art, from acrylic paintings to steampunk treasure boxes.
