Bonnie is a lifelong artist, teacher, arts activist, and resident of northwest Indiana. She has lived in Rensselaer, Indiana for over three decades with her husband Bill and her, now grown, three children. Over the years, she has taught art in the public schools at all levels. Now Professor Emeritus of Art, she retired from Saint Joseph’s College in May of 2016, where she was an Associate Professor of Art and chair of the Art Department. Also a committed artist, she has made art “whenever she could," even exhibiting pieces nationally. She has lived up to her strong leadership role by her commitment to service and by demonstrating the importance of having art in her rural community.
