Kim's How-to Sugar Scrub Class

Creating your own sugar scrub is easy and FUN! Sugar scrubs allow your skin to absorb moisture better, unclog pores, leave your skin smoother, and are a great natural exfoliant. There are many natural options for the types of carrier oils, essential oils, and even different types of sugars used. This class will teach you the basics of creating an all-natural scrub that you know is safe for your skin... along with ideas on how to customize your creation to fit your own skin needs. Picking out botanical scents always adds to the sensual pleasure as well!

$30 for class and to make your own scrub to take home.

You can also RSVP now and pay at the door!

Class is being taught by:

Paste Up Mural Project

Louisville Photo Biennial Paste- Up Mural Project (PUMP) is an outdoor mural exhibition that is a component of the Louisville Photo Biennial. PUMP will include professional photographers from southern Indiana, Kentucky, and young adult and children’s photographers from both states. PUMP will employ an innovative technique that allows photographs to be printed and pasted in public spaces throughout the region. The temporary works of art will be pasted in various sites on buildings and public furnishings across the Kentuckiana area with an emphasis on displaying Indiana artists in Kentucky and Kentucky artists in Indiana to promote interstate tourism.

The project is directed by Julie Schweitzer at ArtSeed Inc and a partnership between the Louisville Photo Biennial. The project is sponsored in part by a generous donation from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County. For more information and a location map for the walking tour, please visit the Louisville Photo Biennial website.

The Project perfectly aligns the mission of the Louisville Photo Biennial and the Louisville Fund for the Visual Arts to expand appreciation of photography as an art form, to encourage visual literacy of photography as a documentary tool, and a powerful media for storytelling, and to create meaningful dialogue throughout Kentucky and Indiana.
